- Triage – tags & assessment
- First Aid –
- Improvised carries – 2/4 handed, Human crutch, blanket / clothing lift, fore & aft carry, pack strap carry
Competencies obtained.
- Can apply first aid techniques to patient in a scenario
- Conduct rapid triage using START system
- Complete at least one victim triage tag
- Appropriately handle walking wounded
- Maintain good patient care & privacy
- Monitor a patient and record vitals
- Track number of patients & locations
