Location Tauranga Airport, Tauranga Airport

General rescue training, this week will be rubile pile assessment for those needing to complete unit standard 18516.

You will need to be at Dive Crescent at 1900hrs or Classic Flyers carpark by 1915hrs. 

We will then be travelling across the airport runway so this will be your only time to get across.

Being late is not an option as it is a working runway after that.

Monthly rope rescue training.

We will be covering slope lowering in a low angle environment.

We will simulate getting a stretcher, patient and four attendants down a low angle using several change overs with main line, belay and articial anchors, will also take a look at the counter weight method.
